A New (But Not Really) Beginning
I’ve lost count of how many “first” and “reintroduction” posts I’ve written. This won’t be the last, and that’s the whole deal. New beginnings are how we grow, evolve, and stay human. We start as sponges, soaking up the world with no filters, no preconceived notions handed down by others. Reality hits us straight. Then life kicks in. We build filters from beliefs picked up through family, friends, community, nation, the internet, you name it. After a while, once we settle on what we think we know, the paint dries. There’s no room left to see anything new.
Firebird is about smashing through that. It’s transformation and adaptability, clinging to that beginner’s mind that’s driven every leap humanity’s ever taken. It’s the spark that fuels innovation, creation, and expression. And when we tap into it, we see we’re more alike than different. Collaboration flows, conflict shrinks, synergy kicks in, and we build incredible things together.
That’s how I live. I’m neurodivergent, wired to chase a lot of things by nature: music, writing, martial arts, building businesses, crafting products that help others bust out of their own boxes. I want to blow the roof off what people think is possible. Strip away the noise, and what’s left is pure potential.
Packaging myself, though? That’s always been a wrestle. Branding feels like a cage. I’ve seen too many creators and brands dim their light trying to fit into one. We all do it. Trying to make ourselves digestible for others at the cost of knowing ourselves. But it doesn’t have to be that way. You can stay true to who you are as you evolve, as the world shifts, as mediums change. That’s how you thrive in life, business, and creation.
So, what do I do? I express myself through whatever pulls me. Music, writing, tech-driven projects. I build stuff I think is dope, things with the potential for real impact. Through Realm and Cognitive Athletics, my main work outlets, I pour this spirit into communities and industries, teaming up with others to make something bigger. Moving forward, you’ll get updates on my music, reflections on the experiences and emotions we all grapple with, takes on tech and business trends, and practical tips for living the Firebird life.
That life has a rhythm, something I call the Firebird Flow. It’s a cycle, not some stiff method. Rigidity is anti-Firebird. We know that by now.
Here’s how it moves:
Reflect to see where you’re at, what’s real.
Remove what’s weighing you down.
Reveal the truth and authenticity underneath.
Rise and let it soar.
Then do it again. That’s what keeps you present. It’s how you create amazing things, build deep relationships, and live aligned, whether it’s personal or professional.
